As union members, we’ve seen too many Massachusetts politicians talk about supporting working families while falling short when it matters.
We believe public sector workers should have the right to strike. We believe all workers, including State House employees, have the right to unionize. And we believe elected leaders should stand with working people, not donors.
We’re committed to building a labor movement that demands more than the bare minimum from those in power. What we need in the Governor’s Office is an Organizer in Chief who will stand up loudly and unapologetically for the labor cause.
We trust Andrea because she has stood with us and organized alongside us. We’re lifting up her story among our union siblings and pledging our support to her campaign.

The right to strike is a fundamental right of all workers, enshrined at the United Nations and recognized around the world. Taking collective strike action is the fundamental way by which workers can ensure they are treated with dignity and respect.
But in Massachusetts, workers in the public sector are denied this basic right. Teachers, court clerks, municipal workers, university staff - all are denied protection in taking nonviolent collective action.
Governor Healey has the power to change this and stand with the working people of Massachusetts. Instead, she is focused on cashing checks from corporate donors - the same billionaires, real estate developers, CEOs, and lobbyists who prey on working families.
